This session will kick off with the naming of our 2024 Cloud Girls Rising Award winners. Following that we will have our panel of female leaders dive into the heart of the challenges and opportunities facing women in the technology sector. We plan to uncover practical, actionable strategies that can help women not only get noticed but also achieve significant advancements in their careers.

This session will explore:

  • Visibility in the Virtual and Physical Workspace: Techniques and platforms for women to showcase their skills, achievements, and potential to key stakeholders.
  • Mentorship and Sponsorship: How to find and engage allies, mentors, and sponsors who can open doors to new opportunities, provide guidance, and advocate on their behalf.
  • Negotiation Tactics for Raises and Promotions: Empowering women with the skills to negotiate effectively for what they deserve, based on performance, market standards, and equity.
  • Leadership Development: Identifying and developing the leadership qualities necessary for advancement in the tech industry.

The goal of this panel is not just to discuss the barriers but to offer concrete, tactical steps that women can take to overcome them.
