George Fischer, SVP of Sales, T-Mobile for Business
Fischer is an accomplished leader with a track record of creating high value for technology and service businesses. With a 25+ year record of growing global software and services companies, he is experienced with 5G, SaaS, communications-as-a-service cloud platforms, contact center modernization, edge processing, network solutions, cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and professional services.
A hands-on executive, George creates and executes go-to-market strategies that are operationally aligned and financially disciplined. He harnesses digital channels, direct and partner distribution, and customer success and adoption practices.
Recognized as a leader who inspires loyalty and results, while also creating a top-down culture of integrity, transparency, and opportunity, George has built and managed diverse, high-performing teams from 40 to 15,000.
Today, George serves as Senior Vice President of T-Mobile’s industry-redefining T-Mobile Business Group (B2B). In this role, George is responsible for leading the strategy, growth, and sales execution for T-Mobile’s 3,000+ employee nationwide B2B salesforce. George’s sales division serves government, education, multi-national, wireline, IoT, enterprise, and small to medium-sized business segments. T-Mobile’s Business Group is the fastest-growing part of T-Mobile’s business and serves 80% of Fortune 50 companies.
Previously, George served as Chief Relationship Management Officer for Fiserv. A global leader in payments and financial technology, the company helps clients achieve best-in-class results through innovation and excellence in areas, including account processing and digital banking solutions; card issuer processing and network services; payments; e-commerce; merchant acquiring and processing; and the Clover® cloud-based, point-of-sale solution. Fiserv is a member of the S&P 500® Index and the FORTUNE® 200 and has been consistently recognized among FORTUNE World’s Most Admired Companies®.
Prior to Fiserv, George served as Senior Vice President and President of Verizon’s Global Enterprise Group, leading 4,600 professionals in 50+ countries. In this role, George delivered strategic networking, managed services, business communications, security, and professional services solutions to Verizon’s global wireline and wireless enterprise clients.
Previously, he was Executive Vice President of worldwide sales and services at CA, Inc., overseeing a $4.4 billion business and a team of 4,700 people in 62 countries. He led the transformation of CA’s field operations through various business models, delivery platforms, and the integration of several acquisitions.
George received his B.S. in Information Systems and Management from Syracuse University. He is a champion of corporate social responsibility and community service, sitting on several corporate and non-profit boards, and is a region trustee for the Boys and Girls Club of America, championing technology opportunities for youth through digital literacy and science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) instruction.
