Mark Alayev, Chief of Magic & Founder, Thread
Mark Alayev is founder and chief of magic of Thread, a service collaboration platform for MSPs. He founded Thread to make service magic by enabling MSPs and their clients to connect in the applications they use every day. Prior to Thread, Alayev was chief data officer at RFA, an MSP with more than 250 staff globally and more than $50 million in annual revenue. It was his second stint with RFA; the first was as a help desk analyst, where he strove to solve the unique challenges faced by MSPs, their service teams, and users. He left his analyst role with RFA to build Appetude—a social network for food which was ultimately integrated into Delivery.com—before returning to RFA to build their global financial development and data services practice. Alayev combines energy, passion for product development, and creative, outcomes-oriented business problem solving in working towards his goal: to positively impact the lives of more than 1 billion people during the scope of his career.
