Dan O’Connell is the chief artificial intelligence and strategy officer and a board member at Dialpad. An expert in AI implementation, O’Connell knows how to navigate the intense ethical and legal considerations that come with AI adoption. Previously, he was the CEO and president of TalkIQ, a leader in real-time speech recognition and AI, which was acquired by Dialpad in May 2018. O’Connell began his career at Google in 2003 in ad sales, eventually advancing to head of new business, sales, AdWords. His perspectives have been featured in articles in Worklife, VentureBeat and Forbes. O’Connell earned his undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University and his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
