John McKennaVice President of Strategic Initiatives & Partner Channel Alliances expedient

John McKenna is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Partner Channel Alliances at Expedient. With over 25 years in the IT industry, McKenna has witnessed and driven the evolution of how businesses use technology to transform and optimize their organizations as they strive to deliver unparalleled value to their clients.

At Expedient, McKenna launched the company's business in the Phoenix market, conceived and established the Enterprise Sales Team, and the Premier Partner Program.

McKenna brings a comprehensive understanding of the Channel business. John has built and executed successful go to market strategies with his Partners as both a Service Provider and an OEM. He has also been on the Channel side as a VAR and a Partner Agent and leveraged his Partners to add value to his Company's client engagements. Given his experiences in launching technology businesses, leading enterprise sales teams, and channel initiatives – McKenna understands the symbiotic, trust-based relationships essential to accelerate & drive meaningful and sustainable growth & success in the IT business for his Partners and Expedient.

Prior to Expedient, McKenna was the founder and president of Alta1, working with enterprises and service providers to help them utilize, develop and deliver cloud solutions. Clients included large enterprises implementing private and public cloud solutions and service providers building and delivering new managed services.

McKenna takes a business and technology view to understand how IT can most effectively benefit an organization and their respective clients. John leverages his background in cloud computing, infrastructure, telecommunications and fiber networking to understand his client's challenges and requirements. McKenna has worked with a variety of clients – ranging from Commercial and Enterprise companies, Service Providers and SLED entities.

McKenna earned his BA degree from Miami University.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, getting outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
