John Holland is a licensed investment banker with a track record of helping owners of technology services businesses achieve optimal value in selling their businesses. With his 25 years of senior executive experience in the IT channel, he specializes in mergers and acquisitions of IT and telecommunications solutions providers. He publishes a quarterly report on mergers and acquisitions in the technology services industry that is widely considered the authoritative digest of M&A in the North American technology services industry. John started his career at the global distributor Ingram Micro. Later, he served as the vice president of a $10 billion hardware manufacturer for almost 20 years, where he led his team to win awards from the Financial Times and the Queen of England. He holds a FINRA Series 79 (Investment Banking Representative) license, a FINRA Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent) license and the designation Certified M&A Advisor (CM&AA) with the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors. John has a master’s degree from the University of California and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois. He has studied at the Harvard Business School and at Templeton College at the University of Oxford, England.
