Renée BergeronSenior Vice President and General Manager AppSmart

Renée Bergeron is senior vice president and general manager of AppSmart, a division of AppDirect. As a member of the global AppDirect executive team, Renée oversees AppSmart’s strategy, sales, marketing, service delivery and business development initiatives. She leads the world’s largest B2B technology services marketplace with the goal of helping every organization make better, faster and more cost-effective technology decisions around voice, internet, SaaS, IaaS, security and IoT solutions. A thought leader in the technology industry for more than 25 years and a channel veteran, Renée is the driving force propelling the company and its partners to the next phase of transformational growth through digital services.  

Prior to joining AppSmart, she served as senior vice president of the global cloud division at Ingram Micro, where she grew revenue to over $1 billion over nine years. Prior to Ingram Micro she led the $300 million IT services solutions business at Fujitsu America, where she oversaw the development of innovative solutions, most notably the company’s managed security, data center virtualization and cloud computing offerings.  

A sought-after speaker, Renée has spoken as a keynote at industry events such as Ingram Micro Cloud Summit, Business Transformation Summit, IBM PartnerWorld, Dreamforce, Channel Partners and more. She’s been recognized for her industry contributions with awards including CRN’s Most Powerful Women in the Channel for eight years running, as well as a CRN Channel Chief, CDN Top 20 Women in IT, Canada, the Channelnomics Influencers Award, Diversity Journal Women Worth Watching and more.  

Renée holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Sherbrooke University in Sherbrooke, Canada, and a master’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
