Channel partners in search of improving their leadership and management skills should attend this session led by industry veteran Bruce Wirt. He will share the foundational elements of success consisting of the four Ps: purpose, passion, perseverance and positivity. Through discovery and mastery of the four Ps, all of which are in the control of the individual, any senior channel leader or up-and-comer can reasonably achieve nearly anything they aspire to. In the session, Wirt will take attendees through his personal journey, supplemented by information, inspiration and insights from experts in various fields. The leadership component of the session is not only designed for existing and aspiring managers, but those who lead in any way.

In this session attendees will learn why:

  • There is no magic bullet for sustained success. Leaders must build a team of people in the right seats, then motivate them to reach their peak potential. Understanding everyone's motivations is critical.
  • Discovering purpose and making sure it aligns with passion is central to the sustained success of any individual. Once that foundation is created, the path to prosperity is fueled by perseverance and positivity.
  • Leaders can't teach the four Ps but can model them. The only teachable elements are skills. That creates an environment where anyone can succeed if they understand what drives them.
