Bill Power and Darcee Nelan will do a deep dive on initiatives that the Technology Channel Sales Professional Association is working on to protect the interests of advisors. Here is some of what you’ll learn from these leaders of the national trade association of technical advisors:

· TCSP has just completed a research study on the value of the channel. For the first time ever, the advisor community is arguing in front of the U.S. Supreme Court to fight wasteful FCC programs that financially penalize advisors. With some providers questioning the value of the trusted advisor this is a timely and useful piece of research.

· Advisors are keenly interested in M&A. Is it time to sell? What is an agency worth? How do advisors navigate the extremely complex process of getting ready to sell. Drawing from TCSP’s M&A Lessons Learned program attendees will gain insight into the process along with resources and support to agents get ready for a merger or acquisition.

· Advisors are always asking for help in recruiting qualified salespeople. TCSP’s profile of successful technology people can be a valuable resource in your recruiting program.

This session is a great opportunity for TAs to get caught up with the important issues they face in today’s quickly changing business world.
