Wireless networking used to be an easy decision for channel partners and their customers. Businesses had Wi-Fi for certain indoor applications with employees bringing their own devices for accessing the public macro LTE network. However, the advent of private LTE and 5G technology introduced new options for enterprise customers. That prompted some pundits to sound alarm bells on Wi-Fi’s impending demise. That didn’t happen. The truth is that Wi-Fi, private LTE/5G on CBRS band and public LTE/5G services will have a role in enterprise networks, often supporting one another. The key for partners is to determine which technology to apply to specific applications and which type of service offering. This session will evaluate each technology, the benefits, limitations and the applications for which each are best suited.
