Leaders of small, fast-growing IT services firms often wonder if the big hyperscalers —AWS, Azure and Googlereally care about them. It is a good question given the market share of the big players and the concentration of power among the large IT services firms that partner with them. Many smaller partners struggle to deliver competitive prices to their customers, may not receive the level of support they require or often feel they are not treated as a partner but just part of a cloud transaction. It can all add up to frustration. However, partners must realize the public cloud playing field has leveled and there are strong alternative providers with programs that eliminate the roadblocks to success that disproportionately impact small and mid-market cloud providers and open the door for MSPs to increase their revenue streams and profit margins. In this talk, attendees will learn how to use the price performance advantages of alternative cloud providers to increase margins, how alternative cloud providers fit in hybrid and multi-cloud deployments, and why smaller is better when you need a human to answer the phone.
