Is your organization still stuck on a D&I initiative—one without equity? Companies continue to struggle with top talent retention due to the great resignation, even with a DE&I program in place. It may be because the equity element of DE&I is often overlooked when building a strong DE&I strategy that fosters engagement, retainment and job satisfaction. Equity involves issues related to fairness in pay, opportunities for advancement and fairness in daily work experiences. For example, an organization might have a diverse workforce overall, but because of traditional job selection criteria, such as having a mentor or sponsor for candidacy, historically disadvantaged groups struggle to be promoted. Or they can lose faith, resulting in increased resignations. In this conversation, panelists will discuss how companies can foster and develop a genuine equity strategy for their organization to help retain top talent and attract new talent that, in return, will help scale their business.
